Ahh – The Second Week of School
Quizzes begin, homework is piling up, and yes, love is in the air. It’s funny to see the freshmen/women starting to hook up even though it’s only been a week. As for me, nope.
Labor Day weekend was spent hanging out at Emmaus. Friday night, Joe and Chas and I went to see Talledega Nights. It’s a pretty funny movie. Then later Friday evening some more of us went dumpster diving. Got a few good things. I personally got a USB 2.0 PCI card and an electric stapler (all thanks to the dumpster @ Staples). Saturday from 1pm-5pm was the 4-on-4 volleyball tourney. We only won a single game but it was a double elimination tourney, so we got to play a total of three games. The rest of the time that I wasn’t playing VB, I spent operating the soundboard outside through which we had a mic for announcing teams as well as having some tunes going on in the background. Saturday evening we went to the $1.50 theater and saw “Over the Hedge”. I thought it was a funny movie. Cheezy–but funny.
Sunday was spent pretty much doing nothing.
Monday I worked on homework all afternoon and got all my homework assignments for this week done pretty much. So that’s a nice thing. Then Monday evening a eight of us got together in the student center and held our Fantasy Football draft. Seasons starts Thursday!
Still no official job/girlfriend. Life is good. Amen.
