One of the reasons I love my MacBook Pro is because if (a) I forget my power cord, or, (b) just don’t feel like getting mine out of my bag and plugging it in, I can use anybody else who has a MacBook (from within the last couple of years). There’s no compatibility issues. It just works.

PC owners: try taking your Toshiba power adapter and plugging it into your Dell. Heck, try taking your Dell and plugging it into a power adapter from a different Dell model.
