Technology Sucks

So all day Saturday, I was looking forward to coming home from souveneir shopping and getting to talk online with Kristin. We got home late, and I jumped online, but she wasn’t on yet. Then, a few minutes later, our internet connection cut out. It’s been down ever since. Although it hasn’t been confirmed, we believe somebody forgot to the pay the bill. Hopefully service will be restored.

For now, I’m stuck sitting in a McDonald’s about a 10min walk from the apartment. Not gonna lie, I feel awkward being an American, sitting in a McDonalds by myself, and using a MacBook Pro. At least I got to talk to Kristin for a few minutes while I was here.

Due to the internet being down at the apartment is also limiting my ability to upload pictures and stories about my trip so far. Hopefully I’ll be able to work on those later tonight or tomorrow.

In other news:

• My back pain has reduced drastically now that I’m not sleeping on the ground, and my muscle that I pulled in my back isn’t hurting much anymore.
• I have a cough that won’t go away.
• My stomach is having a hard time adjusting from the camp food diet to the diet here. I’ll spare you the details.
